I’m a student at the University of Washington Majoring Business. I’ve always loved movies and my goal is to work on the financial side of the film industry. Until then though, I figure I’ll spare my friends from my opinions and shout them from a digital mountaintop for anyone who’s interested. After all, if a tree falls in a forest and nobody blogs about it, does it really happen?
In any case I enjoy films from nearly every genre. I don’t particularly care if it’s a Romantic Comedy, a Science Fiction Epic, or a Cloak and Dagger style thriller, if its well made and engages me as a viewer and as a critic I will always give it the time of day. If anything my preferences tend to center around favorite Producers or Directors, i.e. I will see anything directed by Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Jason Reitman, Quentin Tarantino or Edgar Wright (among many others). Here are some of my favorites:
1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
2. The Dark Knight
3. Office Space
4. Return of the King
5. Hot Fuzz
6. Anchorman
7. Zombieland
8. Fight Club
9. Memento
10. Pulp Fiction

Hey there man, thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. Glad to make your your aquaintence here. Welcome to the world of blogging. I’m fairly new to it myself, I only started in January but it’s great how much feedback and interaction you get. I like your site and look forward to reading more.
Cheers,
Mark.
Hey there! I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award! Check out my latest post for the info (which will be up ASAP) and keep up the great work!
Just read your description and was shocked at your last sentence. I started my blog with an entry titled, “A tree just fell in a forest…” Great minds think alike, I suppose? I’m also trying to get into producing film so we should be friends!
Oh but of course! what sort of film?
I wanted to tell you that as a huge LOTR fan…I love and 100% approve of your tagline.
It might be helpful to add categories to the posts based on review scores, genres, things like that, in the long run it would be helpful to group movies and use this blog as a recommendation system based on your opinion.
I’m definitely working on a new organizational system, I’ve only been doing this for about a month though so I was going to try to get a decent amount of content published before I turned my focus on layout. I’m just not entirely sure how to change things like what you mentioned on WordPress, but with some Tinkering I think I can make it work.
Once I’m ready to upgrade my system I’d love for more feedback so stay tuned
Among you have mentioned , i have watched Dark knight , Anchorman , Zombieland , Return of the king till now , & yes they are my favorite also .
Thanks for stopping by my blog after I reviewed Hope Springs. I see we have very different tastes in films. I like the LOTR films but not so much the rest of your list, which is totally fine.
I like what I’ve seen of your blog here and will certainly be checking your review of films I’m looking
forward to such as Cloud Atlas, the Hobbit movies, Worlds Away 3D and such.
It took me my first two months of blogging before organizational ideas kind of fell into place and they worked in an easier, more fun way than if I’d had a plan in the beginning and tried to force it.
And it seems like you’re enjoying this which is what counts the most, I believe.
back at you for thanks for stopping by, I honestly feel like there’s no point blogging about something if you don’t truly enjoy it and that’s definitely the case for me here. The thing about the blogging world is that everybody has something that they’re a self-proclaimed expert in, and I’d much rather hear somebody talk about something that they’re genuinely fascinated by than the usual “How’s the weather” small talk that usually accompanies non-web-set meetings
Anyways I’m looking forward 100% to the Hobbit and even though I don’t really understand why it was split into three parts (I had trouble understanding two parts in the first place) I guess that just gives us more to bite down on once the finish products are released
great choice..
i will surly connected to ur blog..
magnificent writing..
Thanks!
